Pisa Food Tour

Learn how to order like a local and where to eat during your holiday. Taste your way through the center of Pisa. Sample the city's favorites like cecina, pappa al pomodoro or cinghiale.

We will meet in Piazza Garibaldi, next to the statue of the same name, where our local guide will be waiting for us. This gastronomic expert will accompany us to discover the Pisan culinary tradition, which, like that of Tuscany, has always been synonymous with excellence. Feeling a little peckish? Then follow us!

We will start walking through the streets of the historic center, in search of the more traditional flavors of local cuisine … How about a platter of Tuscan cheeses and cold cuts with a good Spritz? We will taste these delicacies in a local bar in Pisa! Of course, not even a portion of cecina can be missing, a very thin focaccia prepared with chickpea flour, a real must of Pisan gastronomy and the típical pizza we made in the city which is different from other places in Italy.

We will visit a local bottega, so you can do the farm to table experience, with seasonal products make with the ingredients they have in their farm. Products here will change each season.

During the tour we will discover restaurants known only by the locals, where we will be delighted by the typical dishes of the gastronomy of Pisa, such as the wild board pasta and the pappa al pomodoro typical plates of the area. Everything with a good glass of wine or an artigianal beer. We will finish with the dessert cantuccini con Vin santo really typical of Tuscany.
