Our guided tour of Zagreb will begin in Ban Jelačić Square, in the heart of Croatia's capital, where you will get an introduction to the tour and the city.
The first stop of our tour will be at the 13th century Stone Gate, the entrance to Zagreb Old Town, historic entrance to the Old Town with the city's patron saint chapel. Nearby, we'll find the one of the oldest pharmacies in the world, the Black Eagle.
Then it's on to Gornji Grad: an area which looks over the city. Here you'll see the outside of St. Mark's Church with its colorful rooftop, the Parliament and Government buildings.
Next we'll make our way to the Zagreb Funicular. We'll take a ride on the 100-year-old funicular down to the lower town, admiring the views along the way. Afterwards, we'll enter the tunnels built by the fascists during the Second World War.
After that, we'll then visit the Dolac Market, so-called "Belly of the City", a colourful marketplace where we'll learn about some of the daily customs of the local population. Opposite the market is the Zagreb Cathedral, one of the most beautiful and the highest building in Croatia.
