Free tour Alcazaba of Málaga

Meet your guide at the indicated time on Plaza de la Aduana, outside the city's iconic historical heritage site, the Alcazaba. This fortress palace located between the historical city center and the sea, this fortress has seen Málaga growing and changing for almost a millennium.

We will visit the Alcazaba, the little sister of the Alhambra. Its rooms are equal to the architecture of Alhambra in Granada, where the play of light and shadow, the splendour of the gardens and the sound of water are the key features in this type of Nazari buildings.  ,

We will learn about the muslim legacy in a city they inhabit for 8 centuries, to listen about the unbelievable story of a castle that became a neighbourhood, as well as the christian reconquest and the unendable siege  in 1487 surrounded by the breathtaking views of the city and the bay. 

We will visit the most important places of the fortress, the Plaza de Armas and its wonderful garden, the Torre de la Vela, which housed a bell to commemorate the great and important events, or the Cuartos de Granada, where kings and governors lived. 

Finally we can enjoy the wonderful views of the bay from this magical place.
