Leaving early to get to the temples early in the morning, avoiding the heat, we will arrive at the area where the two Abu Simbel temples are located, with its characteristic style, a reflection of the greatness and power of bygone times. We are without a doubt in front of the most outstanding monuments of the visit to Aswan.
Built by Pharaoh Ramses II, the monuments were dug into the rock itself, one being dedicated to the Pharaoh himself and the other to his wife Nefertari. Both temples were consecrated to the four Egyptian universal gods.
During 2 hours we will visit the entire complex, delving into the history of this ancient Egyptian period, its construction, the materials and the duration of its erection, among other historical curiosities. Once the visit is over, we will return to Aswan.
